Mentors provide guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle:

  • Help students and project teams understand real-world constraints
  • Assist in defining scope, feasibility, and methodologies
  • Provide technical or domain-specific guidance
  • Review prototypes, models, and early outputs
  • Offer insights based on industry, research, or engineering experience
  • Strengthen project quality, ethics, and impact validation

Mentors are not expected to work full-time; they provide structured expertise to elevate each project.

IREN-Tech welcomes mentors from many backgrounds:

Technical Mentor

AI, data science, machine learning, cloud systems, backend engineering, frontend engineering, IoT, sensor systems.

Research Mentor

Academics, researchers, and experts in scientific methods, experimental design, and evidence-based practices.

Product & Innovation Mentor

UX designers, product managers, innovation experts guiding prototyping, user research, and solution design.

Community & Impact Mentor

NGO leaders, social impact practitioners, community experts guiding feasibility, partnerships, and ethics.
